So what are The Wine Travel Awards? Organizers say that The Wine Travel Awards offer a new format in the field of wine tourism providing “a unified advertising and information campaign in different countries to draw attention to the nominees: people, regions, wines and local products.”

According to organizers, “Everyone who is passionate about the topic of wine and gastronomic tourism has the right to vote – both professionals and amateurs from any country in the world.” After the March public voting period, “five nominees with the highest amount of public votes in each category will be forwarded to the WTA Jury Panel, who will have an honourable mission to choose the best of the best.

This year, the Wine Travel Awards 2023–2024 judging team pushes the boundaries and breaks down professional barriers — Wine Travel Awards consists of 12 professionals in the field of wine & spirits, enogastronomy, wine tourism, communications and marketing.”
