As an academic and college teacher, I love attending conferences and seminars–I love to learn and to share what I’m learning online.

In 2008, I attended the first North American Wine Blogger’s Conference in Santa Rosa, CA; this conference focused on Sonoma County wines as well as a tasting of New Zealand releases.

In 2009, I attended the second North American Wine Blogger’s Conference in Santa Rosa, CA; this year the conference focused on Napa Valley wines as well as a tasting of wines from Portugal and Spain.

In 2009, I also attended the European Wine Bloggers Conference in Lisbon, Portugal.WBC-Attendee-Badge-2013

In 2010, I attended the third North American Wine Blogger’s Conference in Walla Walla, Washington. I also went on a pre-conference press trip.

In 2011, I attended and spoke at the International Food Bloggers Conference in Santa Monica.

In 2012, I attended and spoke at the fifth North American Wine Blogger’s Conference in Portland, Oregon; I also joined a pre-conference excursion in the Eugene area.

In 2013, I attended the sixth North American Wine Blogger’s Conference in Penticton, BC, Canada; I also joined a pre-conference press trip to the Lake Chelan area and stayed after on a media trip.

In 2014, I attended the Wine Bloggers Conference in Santa Barbara, as well as a pre-conference seminar and a post-conference expedition.

In 2015, I continued my wine education by attending numerous industry events in LA as well as participating in various online tasting events with wines from around the world.

In 2016, I attended and spoke at both the Wine Bloggers Conference in Lodi and the International Food Bloggers Conference in Sacramento. I also participated in pre- and post conference press trips in the “Gold Country.”

In 2017, I am registered to attend both the International Food Bloggers Conference in Sacramento and the Wine Bloggers Conference in Sonoma.
